The second most populous state in India, Maharashtra is an ethereal state defined by its sundry mountains, panoramic beaches, breathtaking sceneries and a wide array of museums, monuments and forts that stand as a testimony to the illustrious, rich history of India. Not to mention that these make tourism in Maharashtra interesting and indulging.

Itinerary

Day 01: Arrival Mumbai
Arrive at Mumbai International airport. Upon arrival you will be met by our representative, after a traditional ‘Swagat’ our representative would assist you at airport & transfer to hotel for overnight stay. Whilst the room keys and check-in is organized, our representative would introduce the tour to you and hand over the documents to you.
Overnight stay at Mumbai.

Day 02: Mumbai
Day free for leisure or excursion tour of Mumbai.
Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 03: Mumbai – Lonavala ( 90 kms / 2 ½ hrs )
Morning, post breakfast drive to Lonavala. Arrival check-in to the hotel, take some rest, afternoon excursion tour to Khandala. Khandala is small and very beautiful hill station. Sightseeing of Khandala includes: Duke’s Nose, Amruntanjan Point, Khandala Lake and Bhushi Lake, Karla and Bhaja Caves. Later sightseeing of Khandala back drive to Lonavala.
Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 04: Lonavala S/ S
Full day sightseeing of Lonavala. Lonavala is a picturesque hill station; it lies very close to another hill resort, Khandala, equally popular and equally mesmerizing. Known as the ‘Jewel of the Sahayadri Mountains’, it is perched at an altitude of approximately 625 m above the sea level. Lonavala is also known for being the starting point for the tourists visiting the ancient Buddhist caves of Bhaja and Karla. The hill station has a number of attractions to boast of, both in and around its surroundings. We will visit sightseeing, Rajmachi Point- point from where the Ghat starts, Ryewood Park and Shivaji Udyan, Tungarli Lake – a very popular picnic spot., Valvan Dam- the major attractions of the dam is a beautiful garden,, Lonavla Lake, Karla Caves.

Day 05: Lonavala – Mahabaleshwar ( 100 kms / 3 hrs )
Mahabaleshwar is one of the largest hill stations in the state of Maharashtra. With its resplendent valleys, cascading waterfalls, placid lakes, ancient temples, cobbled streets and large vistas of greenery, Mahabaleshwar is a home to various spots of instantaneous tourist attractions. Be it the spectacular lookout points or the spiritual ardor in its air, Mahabaleshwar remains one of the most popular hill resorts of India. Sightseeing included: Mahbaleshwar Temple, Waterfalls, Venna lake, Wilson Point – Mahabaleshwar has about 30 major lookout points that offer breathtaking view of the entire landscape, with Wilson being the most popular among them. It is the highest point of the place and is located at a height of 1438 m (4710 ft).

Day 06: Mahabaleshwar –Mumbai (224 hrs / 6 hrs) Departure
Post breakfast, check-out from the hotel drive to Mumbai. Upon arrival transfer departure at airport to board the flight for your onward journey.
