ITINERARY
Day 01 : Arrive in Bangalore & Sightseeing
On arrival at the Bangalore railway station / airport & you will be met by our representative who will assist you to transfer to the hotel, Check in at hotel.
Bangalore ((The City of Possibilities)) officially Bengaluru, is the capital city of Karnataka. One of the most populous urban agglomeration in the region, this city a perfect melting point of cultural traditions and contemporary life. It is among the most attractive cities in the country with myriad of tourist places, including beautiful parks, impressive museums, centuries-old temples and imposing edifices. The hub of Information Technology, this place is a preferred location for many multinational companies, which has earned it the sobriquet ‘Silicon Valley of India’. The expansive green landscapes, tree-lined avenues, pleasant weather and vibrant nightlife has bestowed this bustling city with many other titles – the ‘Garden City of India’ and ‘Pub City’.
On arrival at the hotel, complete the check-in formalities and take rest for a while. In the afternoon, proceed for a half-day sightseeing tour of the city. During this tour, you may explore some of its famed attractions like the Bangalore Palace, St. Mary’s Basilica , Someshwara Temple , Lalbagh Botanical Gardens, Bull Temple , Cubbon Park and ISKCON Temple.
Enjoy the rest of the evening at your leisure. Thereafter, return to the hotel and overnight Stay at Hotel.
Day 02 : Bangalore to Coorg (250 km/approx. 7 hours)
After breakfast , check-out from the hotel and embark on a journey to Coorg , fondly called as the ‘Scotland of India’.
Coorg, also called Kodagu, is an administrative district in Karnataka, famed as the land of coffee, cardamom, colonels and Cauvery River. Located on the UNESCO-listed Western Ghats, this place is set amidst blooming valleys, undulating mountains, dense teak wood forests and expansive coffee plantations. Owing to its amazing kaleidoscope of natural vistas and cool ambience, this hill resort is also renowned as the ‘Kashmir of South’. As the place is blessed with rich flora, rare fauna and avifauna, it is a heaven for nature lovers.

Day 03 : Coorg Sight – Seeing
After breakfast at the hotel , get ready for an exciting half day tour of Coorg. Visit beautiful coffee plantations, orange orchards and paddy fields in Madikeri, a small hill station and the headquarters of the Coorg district. Overlooking this place is the imposing Madikeri Fort, built by the kings of Coorg in the 17th century. The fort is known for its palace and the famous Lord Ganesha Temple, also known as Kote Ganapathi.
Later, visit the old Omkareshwara Temple, which was built in 1820 by King Lingarajendra. It boasts of an excellent blend of Gothic and Islamic architectures that completely mesmerises tourists. It is dedicated to Lord Shiva and features a black granite lingam (one of the 12 Jyotirlingams in the country).
After this memorable trip , return to the hotel and overnight stay at Hotel.
Day 04 : Drive from Coorg to Wayanad (104 km/approx. 4 hours)
After breakfast, check-out from the hotel and drive to Wayanad a beautiful hill resort in Kerala. It is located at an altitude that ranges from 700 m to 2110 m approximately. The etymology of the name Wayanad is ‘Vayal’ means ‘paddy’ and ‘Naad’ means ‘land’, thus meaning ‘Land of Paddy Fields’. Set amid Western Ghats, this place is surrounded by mist-clad mountains, lush forests and green plantations. The place is famous for its cash crops like tea, coffee, pepper, cardamom and vanilla and also for some endangered wildlife species. This region, hidden in hills, is abode to some old indigenous tribes that are yet untouched by modern civilisation.
On arrival in Wayanad, check-in at the hotel and rest. Enjoy the remaining day at your own leisure. Enjoy a comfortable overnight stay at hotel.
Day 05 : Wayanad Sight – Seeing
After breakfast at the hotel, head towards Lakkidi – the ‘Gateway of Wayanad’.
Lakkidi is situated at the crest of the Thamarassery Ghat pass. A journey to this hill resort is a one of its kind experience, with nine hairpin curves en route offering breathtaking views of lofty peaks, gurgling streams and dense forests. The journey starts from Adivaram (downhill) passing through steep mountains, and it ends in Lakkidi at 2296 ft. Here, witness the splendour of nature from the Lakkidi View Point, a vantage point, which presents stunning view of the surrounding Vythiri town. This scenic hill station is gradually emerging as a popular resort for peace seekers.
Later, visit Pookat Lake, located amidst luxuriant forests in the Wayanad region. It is a perennial fresh water lake, which is considered an idyllic picnic spot. The place is famous for boat ride, children’s park, handicrafts and spices emporium, and fresh water aquarium. Tourists can cherish a boat ride against the serene environs of the place.
The tour of Wayanad remains incomplete without visiting the famous Ambalavayal Heritage Museum. A well-maintained archaeological museum, it houses numerous artefacts belonging to the civilisation of Kerala dating back to the AD 2nd century. The main exhibits here are clay sculptures, stone weapons, ancient hunting equipments like arrows and bows, and other curios. Acclaimed as one of the best museums in Kerala, it preserves the rich heritage of the Wayanad region and fascinates historians, archaeologist and layman alike.
After this fun-filled trip, come back to the hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 06 : Depart from Calicut
Morning after breakfast, check-out from the hotel and drive to Calicut airport / railway station for your return journey.
